What would you do if God told you to ask for anything and He would give it to you? Just think about it; The God of heaven and earth, ruler of everything says “you name it, you got it!” I can only imagine your response. You know what King Solomon asked for when God appeared to Him in a dream and asked Him to ask for anything?
His response in 1 Kings 3:7-15 is astonishing. He tells God that his father, David had ruled well and now he must rule a great and numerous people so in verse 9 Solomon asks for “and understanding heart [or mind] to judge [or rule] over God’s people.”
