The struggle of battling with addiction

Did I ever mention how much I do not enjoy repeating myself – Well I don’t. I am done with pitying on deaf ears. Doesn’t it sadden you when you see people you look up to letting you down on the worst thing that slowly destroys you. It is very difficult to watch slow death especially form Nando and Chidi Benz. I mean, how many times have they been warned. I remember when I used Ray C as an example. It was so simple, at the the end of the day, the decision is on your hand.

If you recall, she was checked into rehab for a couple of times and when we just thought that she has changed, well shock on our faces! It was the same dreadful road to rehab. This is similar to Chidi Benz. So many celebrities reached out to help him, prayed for him but it was all in vain.

As for Nando, he had such a great career for him after participating at the Big Brother Africa reality show. His looks, talent was dragged to the bin by drugs and that the decision he made. A waste of precious life. At the end of it all, it’s a rough journey for him he needs serious help.

The struggle of battling with addiction is no joke. It deteriorates every significant aspect in life. It affects their music/career and it does not create a good image. My main point, if they were to quit battling with an addiction, they simply need to seek rehab willingly and admit that they are ready to be helped. It high time we save ourselves and the end we all have our own burden to carry.
