Singer and Actress Whitney Houston dead at 48
Whitney Houston has died at the age of 48, we are absolutely in shock by this is awful and devastating news. The cause of death is currently unknown but her publicist Kristen Foster confirmed the sad news on Saturday.
Sources say that Whitney “partied heavily” last night at the Beverly HIlton hotel where she was staying, drinking and chatting loudly with friends in the bar — but Cissy Houston and Dionne Warwick claim the singer sounded fine just hours before her death.
We’re told Bobby Brown is distraught over Whitney’s death — going “in and out of crying fits.” His band New Edition tells us, they are “shocked and saddened.” Brown was scheduled to perform in Mississippi as part of New Edition.
Clive Davis’ pre-Grammy party which Whitney was supposed to open went on as scheduled, Clive Davis opened with a tribute and moment of silence: “Whitney would have wanted the music to go on and her family asked that we carry on”.
Law enforcement sources say that the police are currently investigating the hotel room where Whitney was found dead. One item they’ll be looking out for — drugs.
Beverly Hilton hotel employees claim that Whitney Houston was found dead in the bathtub of her room.
