Sauti Sol to Perform Alongside Alanis Morisette and Janelle Monae

Kenya’s leading afro fusion boy band Sauti Sol are set to perform at the Czech Republic’s BIGGEST music festival of the year, the Colours of Ostrava from the 12th to the 17th of July 2012.

News coming from Nairobi says Sauti Sol are set to perform alongside other established artistes from across the globe including America’s Alanis Morisette, Sea and Air and Janelle Monáe.
The group which also featured Tanzania’s rap crooner AY in their hit song collabo “I don’t wanna be alone” track,has been very active this year on the international circuit, with a variety of acclaimed appearances at the South by South West Festival in Austin Texas USA and at the Festival on the Niger in Mali earlier this year.
Ostrava is the third largest city in the Czech Republic and the festival is considered as one of C central Europe’s largest gatherings of artistes, music lovers and producers. Colours of Ostrava will be celebrating its 11th anniversary this year and features about 16 different performance stages which include 4 big open air stages, around 6 indoor stages and a cinema. The largest of these can hold up to 15,000 fans.
