Mzazi Willy M. Tuva is that guy, this is why..
The award winning radio and Television presenter Mzazi Willy M.Tuva, who hosts popular entertainment shows across East Africa (Mambo Mseto and mseto East Africa) on Citizen Radio and TV, has for a long time nurtured local talents and helped in bridging the entire region of East Africa through music.
In addition to nurturing and supporting artists, Tuva has taken his incredible role to another level by steering a movement ‘The Mzazi Foundation’ aimed at making a difference in the society.
This is a Foundation whose main role is to look into the welfare of the less fortunate in the society through provision of basic and essential needs such as food, shelter and clothing.
Together with his team, Tuva plans to transverse every region in Kenya.
So far, the soft-spoken and ever compassionate media personality has been able to visit Sagana and Mwingi areas where he has made a difference in people’s lives, thanks to the support he has been receiving from various people.
As a youth, he has proven that indeed we can all make a difference in our daily lives by initiating something new as we aim to uplift the needy. Willy Tuva is not only an inspiration to many youth but a role model, including me.
Despite all the accolades and achievements under his name, he has remained humble and generous.
Tuva is the most humble and outgoing person I have ever met. This is the reason he continues to receive lots of love from people of different ages. He always says, the only people who can change our society is us. He has been able to nurture artistes’ talents from across East Africa and given a chance to upcoming musicians to become superstars for 11 years now since 2006. Hence the name ‘Mzazi’.
As he continues to do what he does best, we wish him all the best.
