Outside of his appearance on DJ Khaled’s gold-certified single “Do You Mind,” August Alsina remained relatively quiet in 2016. But the New Orleans crooner is back with new music for the new year. On the mellow “Drugs,” Alsina sings about a girl who he just can’t shake.
“I can’t get enough of your drugs,” he croons. “So baby, just tell me when you’re ready.”
Expect more music from Alsina in the coming months. He is working on his third album, the follow-up to 2015’s This Thing Called Life.
