Atlanta, GA- Rogers Kyaruzi, 23, of Atlanta is the second person to be diagnosed with the Ebola virus in the United States. Kyaruzi recently returned from Tanzania, an East African country currently plagued with the deadly virus. Tanzania native, Kyaruzi, visited the country for the first time two weeks ago since immigrating to the United States with his family, thirteen years ago. Upon returning to the US, Kyaruzi began to exhibit signs of the deadly virus such as severe headaches, extreme fatigue and diarrhea. As soon as Kyaruzi returned to the United States, he went to Grady Memorial Hospital for emergency care where he is currently being quarantined and treated.

Kyaruzi suspects that he may have contracted Ebola from a prostitute(pictured together above) in Tanzania whom he had unprotected sex with and consumed her breast milk. Contrary to popular belief, Ebola is not airborne and can only be transmitted among humans via close and direct physical contact with infected bodily fluids, such as blood, feces, vomit, breast milk, urine and semen.

Rogers Kyaruzi, a graduate of Middle Georgia Technical College, is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology at Georgia State University. . Raised in Warner Robins, Georgia, Kyaruzi struggled academically at Northside High School, graduating a year late. Kyaruzi has been a United States citizen since 2001 and recently decided to go back home to Tanzania to reconnect with long lost relatives.
