Peercorps Trust Fund, a non-profit and non-governmental grassroot Orgainisation, launched the first ever Safe Community in the country whose main objectibes are to fight against the spread of HIV/ AIDS, improvement of rural livelihood, promotion of equity and education and help reduce injuries and accidents. speaking with the press, The MD with the Organisation, Dr. Hamis Kigwangalla said most developing countries have failed to prevent and fight against accidents (even the unneccessary ones) due to their poor economies thus losing the manpower and adding to their misery, making it crucial to initiate such a community with the patnership with the Swedish Karolinska Institute
