Ikwissa, your right on saying that no one has a right to talk with out valid information, but i for one do have valid info, it could be based on one side of the story but it's valid!! and no i'm not observing whats going on at UDSM through the media i'm actually on the front line. Mkandala might not want these riots, yes i agree ( he might have his own reasons), but from the other side of the spectrum one has to ask himself if these riots are in true essence fightig for real democracy?? yes fellow students have been expelled and are under investigation, but you have to realise that once in a blue moon justice does takes it's course!! and you as a citizen has to go with the flow!! they ain't `supposed' to give food they are there to educate you. food is just a neccessity every human being needs among others. yes he has food locked in a store somewhere, but who are to judge?? and yes this is not europe, who said so?? we got our own culture and our own ways that support us to live in harmony, do you think what you're doing is a positive move to peace and harmony?? we don't need the european shit but do we need to add an already filled cesspool with your shit?? i'm not going to ask myself why all this didn't happen during Luhanga's time because he isn't here any more!! we've got move on!! as you can see you were clever enough to suggest a hypothesis that all this is because of mkandala's poor management of the uneversity. try and get a solution thats wise and compromisable to all. education is too precious compared to a couple of riots that could end up in disaster..!! revolution COULD start in a university but true freedom starts in an educated nation!!

What we are seeing today at UDSM is nonsense. It is shame to support the UDSM student’s boycotts. Well, what they are now claming is the opening of case for their fellow students following their 17 February actions which claimed the life of one of their colleague. Well, they are very right in the sense that a student at university is supposed to be punished as per student’s bylaws and not be sent to the court. If the UDSM student’s bylaws are applied in their case, these guys will have to be sent home immediately. The current situations give them opportunity to meet the justice. Another problem is their wish to give leadership to somebody who is not even a Tanzanian. This is shame to our nation! Yaani wabongo wote wameshindwa kuwa viongozi wampe huyu mwanafunzi mgeni. But the worst part is when we came to realise that this guy does not have qualifications to join UDSM.
I real don’t know where we are going. With such expected intellectuals, where in BONGO going??

I am worried that in few years we will be having hooligans in the offices. In today's world one should speak if and only if he has supporting evidences to back his sentiments. I think we shall need an Angel to rescue our nation in future. In the current situation at UDSM where even the student leaders cannot even explain the reasons for their strike leave alone justifying it, I shouldn’t expect somebody to praises the students actions. I afraid we are loosing our vision here!
