Been intrigued by a presentation made by Sir Ken Robinson
http://www.ted.com/tedtalks/tedtalksplayer.cfm?key=ken_robinsonIt's true that for economies that have a limited number of employment power, persuants of certification are forced to accumulate these in order to qualify for at least the selection stage for an interview. Should according to Sir Robinson, we be looking at a different model of learning...
In relation to Tanzania, shock in the system is already being felt with the threat of opening up the job market to the EA community where Uganda and Kenyas education levels surpasses that of Tanzanians, two three higher level certifications being the norm in these countries, will the Tanzania folks survive this onslaught?
What value do we place on education as a nation?
