Mwaka umepita tangu niwaonyeshe barua ya mwanafunzi wa chuo kikuu kimoja hapa Tanzania aliyoandika akiappeal kurudia kusahihishwa mtihani wake kwa sababu alifeli. Hii wengi mtakuwa mumeshaisoma. Kazi ipo wabongo. Aliyenitumia anasema haya "This is a true extract of an application sent to the Manager of a Company looking for Security Guards". Kazi kwenu
Dea sir, Iam aply to my job of security guard to you boss in you company of Clearing and Forward. I am complete to form 4 examination certificat in 2002. My school certificat is very good. I can come to see it for you. iam 27 ears to be Born of age and no mallied and no children.
My father is dead long time and my mother maried in Swaziland country 10 years, since I am in primary school not see she so nobody known to help me.
My certificat is siting home for itself, but passes in Mathematics, Geography, Science and all subjects but fail English because of teacher teaching me is jelos of myself. Iam wearing good cloth than to them. But can speak English free. I here you company want security gards and I tell you i want job. Amone of that job experience for 2 years I shoot thief dead this temporay job. I want to employ in you company because I can shot gun AK47 I leaned from Mgambo.

Hahaha ... nahisi niliiona kwingineko. Ila sasa, huyu jamaa ali-graduate? There something to be said here, when a Chuo Kikuu student is applying for security guard job ... mmmmhhhh!
* I still maintain, as in my past topics, that we need to be using english as teaching medium from primary school level - with Swahili as a subject ala secondary school curriculum. No doubt we learn Swahili at home and everyday life outside school, so it really is no big deal using it in primary school - in fact use of Swahili in primary school, creates an ill-prepared secondary school student.
